We are recruiting for Freight Forwarding Operations Clerks for our well established client based in Falkirk
Duties will include:
* Create and manage client Jobs, including:
* The generation and issue of quotes to clients.
* Checking carrier websites to confirm free time for imports and export Jobs.
* Searching for vessel options to meet client requirements.
* The issue of booking confirmations.
* The accurate entry of shipping instructions into carriers website.
* Booking transport with hauliers.
* Adding costs in and out of FM3.
* Making timely entries into customs systems.
* Update customers with expected times of arrival and estimated shipping times
* Requesting cargo verified gross mass information from port authorities.
* Comply with documented requirements on the correct use of FM3 for Job Management and related Job Management Quality Management System requirements.
Working hours:
* Monday - Friday 08:30- 17:00
For this role you would need to have some experience in air, road and sea exports. Customs entries, bookings, quotes and transport
