Service Controller Garforth

Your main duties include ensuring planned service programmes and breakdown repairs of all hire fleet assets are swiftly handled, while assisting the Service Support Manager in exercising tight control of external service agents.

Key responsibilities include:

Co-ordinating an efficient service function, controlling workshop, mobile and third-party engineers
Receiving breakdown calls and allocating engineers/service agents to respond
Manage clients expectations whilst delivering valuable customer service
Ensuring that programmed maintenance, breakdown and damage repairs are smoothly controlled and properly authorised, documented and recorded on the computerised maintenance system
Control costs associated with the function, this is without adversely affecting safety or customer service standards or the quality of the hire fleet and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and legislative requirements
Maintain log of vehicle defects requiring action
Update and enter records of all engineers and service agents
Raise recharge invoices as and when required
Working Monday - Friday, 08.00 until 17.30pm.
