IT Support and Installation Engineer - Windows, Office 365

Top opportunity for an IT Support and Installation Engineer to work for a well-known IT and Communications provider with a great reputation and a long-established local client base built up over 30+ years of trading.
You will have a good IT product knowledge with a key focus on - Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, Hyper-V, IAAS, PAAS, Firewalls and Security. Any experience with Unified Communications and Cloud based Telephony products also a big plus.
You will own installations of IT products and identifying issues that may transpire. In this varied role you will also provide 1st and 2nd line support for customers and advise clients on technology best practise and adaption.
The business offers great technical development plans for their engineers and we are looking for someone keen to learn new technologies/attain certifications alongside their day-to-day role.

Working collaboratively with all teams to provide first class IT installations for our customers
Undertaking site surveys and visits
Being an expert in, and driving IT product sets throughout the business
Providing high quality customer service and professionalism
Support any other teams in the business where your IT expertise will help to solve issues and provide solutions for our customers

Must have experience in and a thorough understanding of IT particularly in relation to Office 365 and MaaS 360 as well as knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, O365 Migrations, Server migrations, Firewalls and security.
Experience with Azure
Experience with VMware desirable
Experience with firewall programmes, WatchGuard is desirable
Confident, results driven and able to function independently or as part of a team
Must have a full, clean UK driving licence
Demonstrating products to senior business representatives
Succinct analytical skills to identify customer needs and be able to propose solutions to benefit the customer
Research and keep up to date with current technologies
