We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified candidate to be a part of the Building and Mechanical Industries department at Langley College on a Sessional basis.

This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops and studios.
The Role and You
As a Sessional Technician, you will support the teaching of our Multi Trades provision by assisting with the maintenance of the workshops, the equipment and materials required and adhering to Health & Safety.
You will liaise with the Head of Department and Course Team Leaders to ensure the smooth running of the Construction workshops and stores, reporting any problems relating to staff or equipment immediately, which the post holder is not in a position to resolve.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in the subject area and a relevant trade qualification. You will work independently with minimal supervision and have proven ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
