Our client, a specialist engineering firm in offsite manufacture in the Leeds/Bradford area are looking to appoint a number Manufacturing Operatives to join their team.
You will be working at the forefront of engineering on a variety of exciting new projects in the transport, MOD, commercial and construction sectors.
The role will involve working as part of a team, cutting and preparing materials, installation and assisting with preparation of items for dispatch.
This is a shop based role and there isn't a requirement to be out on site.
Experience of using hand tools in engineering or manufacturing environments desirable, however full training will be given for candidates with good ability to follow instructions and a desire to develop in an engineering role.
Duties will include:
- Measuring, marking and cutting of materials
- Installing and insulating ductwork
- Crimping of pipework
- Preparing and cutting carbon and stainless spools for welding
- Goods receipt and inspection
- Assembling and testing valve sets
- Installing electrical services and trunking work.

Pay: GBP9 - GBP10.23 p/h + Overtime paid at x1.5
