I am currently representing a top main contractor who are seeking to recruit a Section Engineer to work on a new project in the Amersham area of Buckinghamshire. My client is one of the biggest multi-disciplinary companies in the United Kingdom, turning over more than GBP300 Million. They specialise in major Civil Engineering projects throughout the United Kingdom, including highways and rail, they have recently obtained a major workload as part of a major Framework.
The Project:
As part of the this Framework, this project located in the Amersham area of Buckinghamshire is to Construct a2 Maintenance Depot with surrounding infrastructure including new link / access roads, junction improvements and a new bridge to the north of the main depot. Along with these works, there will be Bulk Earthworks / Excavations, Drainage, Temporary works, and structural improvements as part of this project.
The Position:
As a Section Engineer, this position will include the setting out of four bridge structures along with Calverts, drainage and enabling works. You will be the Engineering lead on this section of the project and will report directly into the Structures Manager, there will also be Quality Assurance and health and safety procedures which must be adhered to.
