Facilities Management Team Leader required to cover premises within the North East & Yorkshire area
This is a full time role - hours to be confirmed
Driving licence required for this position.
Job purpose
As an FM Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and delivering facility management services within a portfolio of buildings in the region and supported by your team who may consist of one or more of the following areas; catering, domestic, portering, and reception. Through the day-to-day supervision of your team, you will ensure that we continue to provide a high quality and cost effective service where customers, patients and visitors accessing our sites will receive the best experience at NHS Property Services.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role
Service Delivery:
Depending on the resources within your remit (which may vary from site to site), you will be responsible for ensuring a proficient and cost effective service to our customers/tenants.
Standards of work such as reviews and audits will be conducted in line with internal processes to ensure high standards are achieved. Where equipment is used, you will ensure that full training is given and can be used safely in the conduct of your teams duties. If performance concerns are identified, you will be responsible for ensuring that team members achieve minimum acceptable standards through re-training and effective support.
Where faulty equipment is identified, you will ensure that the relevant action is taken to either repair/replace or find a suitable alternative where required whilst maintaining minimum disruption to delivery standards.
You will be responsible for the purchasing, monitoring, recording and replenishment of all consumables associated with your team activities ensuring that stock levels are maintained to meet service delivery and cost effective.
When conducting audits or visiting sites, you are requested to report any building maintenance defects through our internal systems to initiate repairs as appropriate to assist in building maintenance.
