Contract Manager (Truro)

£32,129 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to take responsibility for the development, contract management and delivery of the ESF Business Clusters project, which will be managed by Truro and Penwith College on behalf of a partnership of eight sector leads. The post holder will ensure the successful delivery of the partnership’s performance against contracted objectives, implement robust quality assurance and audit compliance processes and identify opportunities to add value to mainstream provision.

Applicants should have a proven and successful track record in operational project delivery and an understanding of both ESIF projects and skills provision. The ideal candidate would also be adept at establishing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including project partners and the ESF Managing Authority. Access to or use of transport is required.  

Truro and Penwith College is the Lead Partner in this new £6.87 million European Social Fund (ESF) project, which will support businesses and individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to influence and access sector-specific training. Over the next three years the project consortium of eight delivery partners will engage with over 600 businesses to identify
skills needs and collaboratively review and revise the local training offer in line with industry requirements.

Truro and Penwith College will maintain the successful activities of Hospitality Table Cornwall and REACH Cornwall through the Business Clusters project, which respectively engage and assist businesses from the Hospitality, Leisure, Hair and Beauty industry and the Health, Social Care and Early Years sector.

This post is part-funded by the European Social Fund.
