As an Engage Lead at Northampton Saints Foundation (Ipswich Hub), you will be responsible for helping the Foundation grow using the values of rugby to positively impact young people in our Engage programme. The successful candidate will be honest, hardworking, and willing to go above and beyond within their work. They will be respectful and understanding of the Foundation's work across various programmes.

Key Responsibilities • Leading and managingon our Engage programme based in Ipswich. • Building positive relationships with referring agencies and local authority. • Day to day management of support staff, including apprentices working on the programme. • Leading on the recruitment process of young people onto the programme, while having the ability to communicate and conduct professional relationships with children, young people, and adults. • Responsibility for bookings and reconciliation of invoices relating to these. • Designated Safeguarding Lead for the hub. • Planning curriculum of activities to re-engage vulnerable young people, whilst creating progression passports for all students on programme whilst identifying their next steps in collaboration with their education setting. • Completing daily student reports, writing, and corresponding with schools and external professionals • Assisting sports delivery and supporting our young people.

BACKGROUND The Northampton Saints Foundation was established in 2018 and is the charitable arm of Northampton Rugby Football Club. With successful programmes in the Education and Inclusion arenas and responsible for the research and recording of the Club's rich history and heritage the Foundation has a clear vision to use the values of rugby and the power of sport to INSPIRE, SUPPORT and EDUCATE young people and their communities.

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to communicate and conduct professional relationships with children, young people, and adults. • Designated Safeguarding Lead or ability to achieve. • Ability to build strong relationships, work as a team as well as using your own initiative. • Experience of working with young people, ideally those from disadvantaged backgrounds. • Strong communication skills with both adults and young people. • Committed to demonstrating the highest standards of delivery to our young people. • Positive mindset, reliable and resilient.

OTHER This role may include delivery in schools, pupil referral units, alternative education and prison venues.
