Flexo Plate Maker / Mounter

Company: A leading packaging graphics company.
Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a flexo plate maker to join a leading organisation in Manchester.
You will be responsible for mounting and producing plates to agreed timescales and to the highest standards of quality in order to meet production requirements.
* Producing plates as required to meet production schedules.
* Mount plates accordingly.
* Support production to maximise machine efficiency.
* Producing work on time to the highest standard.
* Maintain CTP and all plate making equipment in accordance with established maintenance and housekeeping regimes.
* Maintain quality and health and safety.
* Maintain databases and backups.
* Record non-conformances and any plate related issues.
Requirements:
* Experience of Flexo Platemaking / mounting.
* Experience of Esko CDI software - not essential.
* Flexo and corrugated experience - preferred.
* Experience of working with pre-press workflows.
* Good knowledge of the print process is essential.
* Must have a keen eye for detail and understand that quality is paramount
* Must be able to work as part of a team but equally as well on their own
