Following our exit from the European Union and as we tackle the challenges that many British businesses have been presented with as a result of COVID-19, it is imperative that we are equipped to promote UK trade and investment opportunities with the rest of the world. This is the role of the Department for International Trade (DIT) - one of Whitehall's newest departments - and a great place in which to further your career.

Here, we champion an expert, enterprising, engaged and inclusive workplace in which every member of the team plays a valuable role in delivering the best possible trade and investment policies for the UK. For the first time in 40 years we have an independent trade policy, so we are establishing Free Trade Agreements and market access, working innovatively to support British businesses in their ambitions to export and invest in 108 countries globally. Our work is fast-paced and deeply rewarding, making for a dynamic environment in which to pursue your long-term goals. Digital Services, Data and Technology (DDaT) is one of the key Directorates that work on developing the cutting edge of International Trade negotiations.

As a Project Support Officer (PSO), you will have an exciting opportunity to work in Digital Services, Data and Technology team. This includes providing Project Delivery support for a variety of DDaT Programmes, such as:

- digital services, like great.gov.uk, that allow our users to access the tools and information they need to grow their exporting capacity.

- internal business services, like Data Hub, that enable staff to better use customer data to target.

- marketing campaigns and face-to-face services on exporters and investors and trade policies.

- workplace ICT services which are secure systems and devices that DIT staff in the UK and abroad need to do their jobs.

Join us, and you will play an instrumental role in delivering critical work for DITs ambitious agenda. Further enhanced by a generous benefits package and flexible working arrangements, you are sure to excel in our forward-thinking team.
