Salary: Up to GBP37,000 + on-call payment (+ excellent benefits)

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line PaaS support in a very high-profile Public-Sector setting with a large User estate and great opportunity for career development.

As a Systems Engineer within the Platform as a Service team, you will be responsible for configuration and support across a variety of on premise and cloud based platform technologies such as Identity and Access Management, Messaging and Email Archiving, Citrix Virtual Apps, Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Your role would be to support the busines by working collaboratively with other teams and ensuring regular maintenance activities are carried out and completed on time whilst also providing incident/request/problem support within the agreed service levels within the ITIL Framework. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills to investigate, diagnose and rectify issues relating to infrastructure services.

You will be able to demonstrate 3+ years implementing, supporting and optimising services in a similar technical environment of a large User estate, including:

• Experience in supporting identity and security related technologies such as Active Directory, Certificate Services/PKI, Azure AD, AAD Connect, AD FS, MIM and SailPoint IdentityNow

• Experience in the support and administration of the Microsoft collaboration stack for products such as Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Exchange & SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.

• Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Symantec Enterprise Vault (EV) administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience of Citrix Technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, Netscaler, CSG, Storefront), administration and troubleshooting.

• First-hand knowledge in supporting complex infrastructure environments

• Good understanding of IT Health check vulnerability assessments and remediation activities

• Experience with cloud-based Infrastructure Management and automation tools such as Azure Security Centre, Azure Sentinel, Log Analytics, Advanced Threat Protection and ServiceNow

In addition you will need to possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be a great problem solver
