Injection Moulding Setter
* Permanent
* Sutton in Ashfield
* 3 Shift
* Salary GBP35,000 + Overtime
Due to ever continued increase in demand, a leading manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.
Reporting to the Mouldshop Manager, the main purpose of the role is to undertake the safe setting and conditioning of machinery, carry out tool changes, tool setting, correctly setting up ancillary equipment & troubleshooting to ensure production targets are met on time to the required standard.
Responsibilities as Injection Moulding Setter:
* Process Optimisation
* Set and Injection Moulding Machines & Tools from scratch
* Carry out multi-cavity tool changes
* Material Selection
* Basic tool and material trials
* Safely set up ancillary equipment
* Maintenance of tools & machinery to minimise any downtime
* Continuous improvement activities
* TPM activities
Experience / Qualifications required:
* Be an experienced Injection Moulding Setter with a good technical knowledge of Injection Moulding processes
* Ability to program robotics
* Trouble shooting, problem solving and the complete process setup
* Setting up of associated ancillary equipment - Hot Runners, Conveyors, Granulators, etc
