The Company - Machine Operator

Our Client is the European market leader in manufacturing of paper rolls and self-adhesive labels. Their products are widely used in offices and sectors like retail, food & drink, financial, leisure & entertainment and transportation.

The Role - Machine Operator

We have immediate requirements for Machine Operators on a 12 weeks Temp-to-Perm basis. The main job role will be operating machinery within the printing industry and the successful candidate will be solely responsible for the running of the machine. Candidate will also set the machine (full training will be given).

The Hours - Machine Operator

There are vacancies for the following shift:

06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday rotating shifts.

22:00-06:00 Monday to Friday fixed nights.

Your Background - Machine Operator

The ideal candidate will have good machine operating experience, printing and / or plastics industry experience is essential. Also, experience in operating paper slitting rewinding label machines with experience in printing in line. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

Pay Rates - Machine Operator

GBP10.00 per hour - Standard

GBP15.00 per hour - 40 hours + up to 12pm on Saturday

GBP20.00 per hour - Saturday 12pm onwards & all hours Sunday

Once permanent monthly production bonus of up to GBP150 will be payable also. There is also an annual attendance bonus available of up to GBP500, once training and probation are completed.
