Concept are currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineer Eastleigh

You will be working for a leading worldwide EPoS and IT Service organisation maintaining and supporting IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards and mice

Contract start - ASAP

End - 28th January 2022

The Role

Working in team of 6 Desktop Support engineers supporting user base of 2000 users, both in office and remotely
Engineers will Set up and configure devices for users and build to install operating systems
Supporting operating systems and standard applications
Support and maintain tablets and mobile devices

What are we looking for?

Experienced Desktop support engineers
Experience of using a ticket management system such as Service Now
Must be able to work well under pressure in small team
Must also be physically able to move equipment around such as monitors and desktops.
Knowledge of IT security and antivirus as well as performance monitoring and active directory
Good customer facing experience desirable
Able to pass BS7858 vetting level 4 (Inc of Scottish Disclosure and Credit check)

Working Hours

Working both in our clients offices and remotely - must have suitable WFH set up
5 days a week
shifts either 8:00 to 16:30 or 9:00 to 17:30 with one hour lunch
Some out of hours work either evening or weekend may be required

What's on offer?

You will be paid up to GBP122 per day via an Umbrella company
Potential of further contract work in the future for the right candidate

This role has been assessed and deemed an inside IR35 role
