While working as a Night Auditor our client will expect you to work to their company ethos to create awesome guest experience by delivering a friendly and fun service, while committing to demonstrating their core company values.
These values are: loyalty, ownership, consistency, awesome, and learning, which in turn reflect their approach to offer real life hospitality. Ultimately, their guests will be able to immerse in the atmosphere of their local, community spirited venues.
Key Responsibilities:

* You will manage a team of porters, ensuring that all standards are met with attention to detail. Including of guiding and directing as well as training the team members.
* Proactively encourage development and motivation for self and others.
* Identifying, communicating, and actioning all sales leads.
* Keeping the team up to date about departmental, hotel and company activities through daily communications including financial feedback, customer feedback, taking appropriate actions for improvement.
* To increase revenue and maximise occupancy through quoting prices based on the rates set by the revenue manager. Negotiating prices were necessary and within set parameters set by the Revenue Manager. Maximising sales at every opportunity, this is to include room upgrades, dinner reservations, breakfast up selling and car park sales, this list is not exhaustive, and you should seek new sales initiatives at all times.
* To handle all guest's complaints, ensuring they are responded to as soon as possible, compensated where necessary and guest satisfaction is restored while guests are still in contact with team, meaning in house.
* Following company control procedures in accordance with the internal audit requirements.
* Confidently know all emergency procedures, full knowledge of the fire manual, ensuring that all staff and supervisors are similarly aware.
* Duty Management shifts as required and adhere to established security standards as well as completing walk rounds as required.
* Close daily business, consolidate days business and report to all departments.
* Prepare reports and audit the financial process of the day shift in F&B and FO alike, paying intensive attention to revenue retention.
* Collating information as required by the management and distributing to HODs and/or departments as set out.
* Balance all outlets and communicate openly with Accounts on any discrepancies.
* Coordinate Conference set ups to standard in advance, being proactive with setup and follow SOPs regarding room layouts.

* Being fully convers with the current property management system and other common computer systems.
