GBP37,370 per annum dependant on experience

Permanent, Full Time 40 hours per week

A company who already successfully manages 4 prisons, one secure training centre and a number of community contracts in England and Wales are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join their team. The philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re-integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalise prison conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe.

The prison acts as a national resource for sentenced male adults who have been convicted of a current or previous sex offence(s).

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, we are looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join us based at HMP Rye Hill.

You will provide professional advice, guidance and support to operational and line management, bringing consistency and best practice to ensure HR supports the delivery of local business objectives and provide people insight, advice and address any people risks.

You will possess extensive HR Advisor experience, supporting the teams in all HR matters. You will have a consultative and can do attitude, along with an understanding of employment law and current legislation. You will work collaboratively and openly whilst offering effective solutions for your business areas.

You will manage a small team to deliver a robust HR service to the site of which has a large employee base, you must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral alongside keen negotiation and influencing skills.

As an experienced Human Resources Advisor, it is essential that you have experience of working within a multifunctional and demanding environment. You will be a dynamic and engaging individual with a good sense of humour, who shares our ethics and values and is eager to support the HR delivery and local management teams. A proven HR professional with professionalism and integrity, you will play an integral part to the CaRS HR team.
