The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR and part of the facilities Senior Management Team, the key responsibilities include:

The development and implementation of the HR Strategy & People Plan for a 300-employee site
Working closely with each of the functional heads and their teams to support and mentor them on HR policies & procedures that directly affect and improve business performance
Leading, managing and developing a small team of HR advisors
Positively challenging the "status quo" to provide the impetus, the environment and best practice processes to up-skill the Line Managers & Supervisors
Play a key role in creating a new culture where all the employees feel directly accountable for the quality of the work they produceThe Candidate
A professionally qualified and experienced HR generalist with significant experience of manufacturing environments and the challenges faced by a business going through a significant growth phase. Key to your success will be:

An outstanding track record of managing cultural change within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment is essential
You must be motivated by the challenge of building personal and functional credibility with a diverse range of key stakeholders
Demonstrate excellent influencing and communication skills
Above all you must have the personal drive, enthusiasm and determination to genuinely influence and manage "real" change and play a critical role in how HR is perceived within the businessThe Company
