Comensura is seeking a collaborative and committed Credit Controller to work as part of the finance team to ensure maximum cash collection and minimize overdue debt. If you have a background in finance or procurement, this contract job could be the perfect fit for you! This Luton based Credit Controller role comes with an excellent salary of GBP25,000 p/a and home working options on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
In this Accountants and Analyst job, you will be providing support to the Finance Manager and assisting team members to ensure group cash and overdue debt targets are achieved. You will also need to deal with complex issues and take responsibility for end-to-end resolution and escalation where necessary.
As part of your day-to-day Credit Control duties, you will:
Provide Bank Analysis
Chase overdue accounts through all methods of communication
Journal entries and postings to ledger
Perform cash posting
Be responsible for cash allocation in a timely and accurate mannerYou will also be liaising with and providing support to other departments and stakeholders and maintaining and operating financial systems in accordance with procedures.
Analytical and financial skills required:
Comprehensive understanding of billing and credit control end-to-end processes
Well-organized approach to managing and prioritizing own workload whilst working to specified targets and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels
