Moxie People are on the lookout for a talented, commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor based in the Cornwall area, with significant Social Housing experience.
Following some major changes within the senior management team, a Cornwall based housing association are looking for experienced staff as they move towards the completion of an exciting restructure.
You will build a team, create the processes, and work closely with the Head of Assets to deliver and manage programmes???with direct line management responsibility over two team leaders and a data analyst.
Your day to day will include:
* Managing and controlling a budget of around GBP35 million per year
* Recruitment and line management of a small, specialised team
* Putting together quality assurance and quality management systems, from the ground up
* Establish a robust cost model for contractors
* Set up a sub-contractor framework for a 5 year programme, at a total value of approx. GBP125 million
* Build a strong, long lasting relationship with the local authority procurement team
* Projects will include refurbishment, repairs, decarbonisation and capitol works
