The primary role is to provide management and people development training (both delivering training personally and co-ordinating the outsource of training as appropriate). Consulting and diagnosing the appropriate solution with the identified stakeholders to support the Society and achieve its People and Culture Strategy in line with the five year strategic plan (and beyond).

Key accountabilities:

To deliver suitable blended training and coaching solutions for new, existing and aspiring managers (and other identified colleagues) across the Society to develop their management and leadership skills and in support of our agile working approach. To create, deliver and evaluate development solutions that will help to embed the Society's' Talent Management Framework and Approach to Training and Competency.

Some desirable candidate qualities:

• 3 years minimum experience in management learning and development practices

• Proven ability in Training Needs Analysis or equivalent

• Proven ability in delivering management and leadership programmes to a wider audience range

• Proven ability in core Microsoft 365 packages (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)

• Previous experience working in Financial Services

• Proven ability in delivering evaluation models for training delivered (for example Kirkpatrick or equivalent)

• Proven ability in mapping return on investment/measuring success for programmes delivered

Some Responsibilities:

• The design, delivery and evaluation of leadership training that will help engage, challenge and support individual managers. This will be achieved through embracing a blended learning approach and a consideration of costs, return on investment and effectiveness.

• Design, deliver and evaluate the Society's Induction (Onboarding) Day ensuring it aligns with our people and culture strategy.

• To provide required training, coaching and development to support the Society's strategical plan and in partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

• Understand the appropriate Society Policies and standards for this role.

• Operate in accordance with the Society Risk Management Framework, demonstrating and awareness and management of risks and clear operations within controls.
