Credit Controller, Construction based in Coventry, GBP24,000 per annum dependent on experience.

We are now looking for a Credit Controller who can support in reconciling accounts and speaking with customers on the phone.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Credit Controller Main Duties:
Ensuring customers pay to terms and chasing any overdue invoices.
Processing incoming funds daily & maintaining the reconciliation of accounts.
Managing account queries to resolution.
Maintaining correspondence with customers and ensuring all requests are addressed.
Maintaining accurate records.
Working closely with the Financial and sales Team to improve and implement debt collection processes. Chasing any overdue invoices or payments and initiate legal proceedings if necessary.
Maximising aged debt collection.
Working closely alongside stakeholders to minimise the risk whilst supporting business growth.
Supporting the evaluation of customer credit limits.
Reporting on overdues and queries to management.
Credit Controller Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Previous experience working with Sage is essential.
Previous experience within the Construction industry would be desirable but not essential.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to listen and negotiate with customers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well as part of a team, using own initiative.
High attention to detail.
High level of IT literacy, which include Microsoft Office Packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Valid UK/EU driving licence with access to own vehicle.
