Pertemps have a a very rare opportunity for a Senior IT Analyst to join our client for 6 months, located in the heart of Plymouth.
We are seeking a Senior IT Analyst to work as part of our clients Technology and Information Services(Infrastructure). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and cutting-edge team, in a beautiful location, where you can really make a difference.
As part of the organisations move 'into the cloud' they are undertaking a Cloud Telephony project to migrate from their existing on premise IP telephony solution to a cloud based telephony provider. This project affects almost all aspects of the telephony service, including: phone system/call manager, switchboard, contact centre, voice mail, session border controllers, desk phones/handsets, removal of any legacy analogue telephony. The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining and developing a wide portfolio of IT services including servers, networking and telephony. You will work in a dynamic and responsive team to deliver the Cloud Telephony project whilst maintaining and developing key IT services. You will be expected to drive innovation and given autonomy to lead on work.
You will require a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience of managing either on premise or cloud based IP telephony (e.g. Cisco Unified Call Manager, Zoom, Microsoft Teams). You will cover a variety of disciplines in the field of telephony specialist which would mean you would be multi-disciplined and be able to excel at team collaboration. Working in an experienced team and alongside other Infrastructure staff, they expect you to have the energy and passion to deliver and support a range of technologies and have a solid demonstrable understanding for 3rd line configuration, operation, management and support.
Experience and Knowledge
Excellent communication - verbal, written, presentation
Experience of providing IT support and or maintaining IT systems
Experience of working in infrastructure environments
Experience of supporting a range of infrastructure technologies
Experience of working in complex infrastructure environments
Significant experience of supporting a range of infrastructure technologies
Experience of managing third party relationships
Shows aptitude for analysing and managing problems arising from incidents in the operation of information systems
Experience of providing IT support and / or maintaining IT systems
This role is Mon-Fri, 37 hours per week, located in the heart of Plymouth.
