An amazing Office Manager/HR role has just come storming into our office and we're so pleased to be working with this client again!
This role is being offered on a 18 Month Fixed Term Contract and the role is based in Reading, Berkshire
My client is a fantastic company who provide a dynamic and flexible work environment, so if you're an Office Manager who has HR experience and looking to take the brave leap into your next carer move, this role is certainly worth considering.
Looking after approx. 20 employees, you'd will be responsible for the day to day running of the office/facilities management, provide support to management/staff and undertake general HR duties, working alongside the HR Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee all aspects of office management - liaising with the landlord, office improvements and maintenance:
Be a point of contact for staff on HR issues: responding to specific requests; managing staff recruitment and induction;
Working with local Team Leaders to ensure company remain compliant with Legal requirements;
Office Manual updates: incorporating new policies and procedures as well as updating and amending current policies and procedures
Performance Management, CPD, training and development: ensuring training and development needs as identified through the appraisal process are followed up. Booking courses/seminars and keeping track of CPD points where applicable. Ensuring inductions and staff appraisals take place at the relevant points throughout employment;
Once suitability trained dealing with disciplinarians and grievances: ensuring the Firm's policy and procedures are followed throughout the disciplinary and grievance process; where necessary taking notes, writing letters and arranging meetings.
Completing monthly WIP (work-in-progress) reports, following inactivity procedure, and quality checking files before billing.
Get involved with other HR projects as and when required e.g. monthly newsletter, staff events etc.Candidate Specification:
Experience of strong management and leadership skills
Experience of dealing with HR duties
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent IT skills with a high regard for confidentiality
Adaptability and change management
