Gorgeous little village pub and restaurant, with a reputation for delivering great home cooked food is in urgent need of an experienced Chef to join the team in the kitchen. Their niche is traditional, home cooked, good food and they 100 pc make the best gravy for Sunday lunch, in Lincolnshire!
With the owners being foodies, they take pride in all food leaving the kitchen, they serve a variety of bar snacks, carvery, specials and main meals at lunch and in the evenings.
The kitchen stops cooking at 1400 for lunch and 2000 in the evening.
THE HOURS
Monday and Tuesday are your days off. Wednesday to Friday its a split shift (Apply online only) hrs and then again 1630 to finish. Finish can vary on how busy they are but the kitchen closes at 2000 so its a latest finish of 2100.
Weekends are all day, with Sunday's being especially are busy with a Sunday Carvery.
Reporting to the Head Chef and owner, this is a great opportunity to be apart of delivering great food. You will assist in all food prep, cooking and you will be responsible for creating your own specials.
As the successful candidate, you will need: City & Guilds 706 - 1&2 or equivalent and current food hygiene certificate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the proven ability to work effectively in a team as well as on your own.
Its a small team so flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs of the business is essential.
