Senior Production Supervisor

To manage the day to day operation of production to ensure output is in consistently achieved to the highest of standard, ensuring maximum right first time and minimal scrappage, in line with requirements and budget.
You are responsible for all aspects of stock control within production, communicating with both procurement and the warehouse to ensure that products are manufactured on time for the customer, in excellent condition and in line with requirements.
You must actively adhere to and promote health & safety within the workplace.
You are responsible for providing day to day management support to your team to ensure that they meet their objectives. Clear and timely communication is essential to meeting the objectives of the role, providing support and expertise to all departments with a view to maximising performance.
Ensure adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
Develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain the company Vision and Values
Represent the organisation in a positive way to avoid reputational damage to our corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute
To action any other reasonable request from the Department Manager or member of the Senior Leadership Team and assist the team as applicable.
To undertake such other duties, Projects, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of the job.
