We are keen speak with Infrastructure / Engineering Managers in Cornwall that may be looking for a new challenge. Working with an award winning client to deliver a large housing scheme this is a pivotal role that will orchestrate all pre-construction activities of the site
As the Infrastructure Manager you will take responsibility for the project for early design stages through to procurement. Working closely with external consultants, utility providers and local authority to ensure all services are in place and within agreed requirements.
The role:
* Working with Consultants to develop design / feasibility of the scheme
* Managing section agreements - S106, S38, S102 etc.
* Review and highlight design risk, before the construction phase
* Manage site surveys
* Carry out due diligence on the infrastructure design, reporting on budget, programme and quality during delivery
* Be responsible for the design draft / full Contractors Proposals and design meetings
* Liaise with the operations team
The person:
* Degree / HNC ideally in a civil engineering capacity with construction experience
* Housing building infrastructure experience will be a distinct advantage
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally of a similar size or complexity
* Good understanding of buildability, design and planning
* Strong IT / reporting skills
