SITE OPERATIVE

Basic hourly rate £9.50-£10.50 depending on experience.

Paid weekly in arrears on Friday.

37.5 hours per week
Mon-Thu 8am-4pm
Fri 8am-3.30pm

25 days holiday per annum plus statutory bank holidays.

Workplace pension scheme.

Saturday overtime is occasionally available.

A waste management company with our head office in Manchester, we are looking to recruit a counterbalance forklift driver and general labourer to work at our Liverpool site in the L24 area. 

You will need an up to date forklift licence and have a good work ethic.

You will need to be extremely reliable as will be working in a two man team.

Working mainly with the site supervisor, you will be occasionally working solo when covering holidays etc.

This position is full time and permanent.

Immediate start.

The job will mainly consist of:

• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Transporting pallets and barrels around site
• Manually segregating waste items
• Loading and discharging waste process machinery

You will be working outdoors and need to comply with all site Health & Safety.

All necessary PPE will be provided and you will receive full training on our site processes.
