Gas Engineer

Stoke-on-Trent (Newcastle-under-Lyme)

12-month Fixed Term Contract

 

We are looking for 5 x Gas Engineers to deliver high quality gas servicing, responsive gas repairs and installations in accordance with current Gas Safety Regulations.  You’ll be responsible for servicing, repair and installation  on all gas installations within domestic properties including fires, heating, hot water systems and cookers as well some associated plumbing. You’ll be able to meet the accredited core competences:

  • CCN1 – Core gas safety

  • CENWAT – Install, exchange, repair gas fired central boiler

  • CKR1 – Install, exchange, repair domestic cooking appliances (cookers)

  • CPA1 – Combustion gas analyser

  • HTR1 – Install, exchange, repair gas fires/wall heaters

 

You will have an ACS Certificate and practical experience of gas servicing and repairs, as well as appliance and system installations. Customer focused, you will be confident liaising with tenants in their properties and will demonstrate a calm approach when dealing with highly sensitive situations. With the skills and technical ability to complete repairs and services in a logical and methodical way, you’ll be able to work on your own with minimum supervision and also as part of the team to ensure targets are met. 

 

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
