Aviation Insurance Technician, Home Based, GBP25,000 to GBP30,000
A market leading Lloyds Market Insurance Broker has an excellent opportunity for an Insurance Technician to join their successful and expanding Aviation team.
You will be able to work from home but can join the team in London on a weekly basis when they return to the office.
What does an Aviation Insurance Technician do?
As an Insurance Technician, you will play a vital part in supporting Clients and Account Executives with accurate and effective technical administration. This will be dealing with a wide and interesting range of London Market Aviation risks.
Some of your day to day duties will include:
Preparing and submitting policy documentation to Xchanging, dealing with any queries raised
Updating and recording payment of premiums for Insurance transactions
Providing Clients and other parties with resolutions to technical Insurance queries
Monitoring and dealing with incoming transactions and documentation
Preparing and sending invoices to Clients and debiting Client premiums
Collecting and making sure premiums are released to Underwriters
Ensuring accuracy and quality control checks on all documentation Should I apply? you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in your work and enjoy the technical workings (rather than the Client facing aspects) of Insurance, then this could be the position for you!
If you have Aviation Insurance experience, which can be from varying roles such as Account Handling, Claims or Underwriting, that will be advantageous. However experience of the Lloyds Market is very beneficial.
Other skills:
Understanding of endorsements, schedules and slips would be beneficial or knowledge of LPANs and Xchanging
High standard of presentation of work
Ability to offer an accurate, prompt and professional serviceBenefits
