We are recruiting a conscientious, caring and values-led Project Manager for Wells Road, a Care Home regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for six individuals with learning disabilities.

 

Wells Road prides itself on promoting a homely environment for the individuals we support. The team encourage empowerment and choice while supporting individuals to develop and grow their life skills. The individuals living at the service have lived together for a significant time and the current team are very well established. Activities at the service include daily living skills development such as cooking, laundry, cleaning and shopping. Individuals are supported to make choices and remain fully involved with decision making regarding their living environment.

 

About You:

You will be organised, a team player, honest and have sound management and leadership skills, with demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a team in a social care environment.

 

You will have a good understanding of the CQC fundamental standards and be willing to undergo the registration process. It is essential you have a sound understanding of health and safety legislation and understand the importance of both internal and external quality auditing systems. You will understand and apply the Mental Capacity Act legislation and have knowledge of the Deprivation of Liberties Safeguards.

 

You will have the ability to create and sustain a homely, safe and comfortable environment for our service users; ensuring their voices are heard during service development and change. You will take pride in your work, be willing to develop yourself and others, and be committed and able to model NCHA’s CLEAR values and purpose. You will fully embrace a person centred approach towards the individuals living at the service, ensuring they remain at the forefront of service delivery. You will be able to ensure the care and support delivered is of the highest standards and maintains an individualised approach at all times.

 

Qualifications required for the role:

You will have a minimum of an NVQ level 3, a new QCF Diploma level 3 in Management/Leadership, Health and Social Care, Housing or a relevant qualification. You will have a good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills as you will be expected to provide and analyse management information and data as part of your role.

 

About the role:

We understand the importance of work/life balance at NCHA. Your normal working day will be between 9am – 5pm, four days a week.

 

As a Project manager, your role will vary from day to day. Some of your duties may include but are not limited to:Recruiting, selecting and inducting new colleagues

  • Managing performance through supervisions, development plans and CLEAR conversations
  • Managing work place health and safety risk assessments and practices in line with regulations
  • Meeting statutory and organisational quality requirements and regulations
  • Developing, monitoring and meeting designated cost centre income and expenditure targets
  • Contributing to wider organisational development initiatives to develop and improve services

Developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
