Concrete Testing Technician
Concrete testing technician required to be based on a site in Derbyshire
This is a permanent position that would then be based at my clients Draycott office.
In this role you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:

Carrying out product sampling, equipment calibration and testing in line with procedures and British Standards and in good time.

Reporting relevant KPI's
*
Completing documentation and ensuring it is filed correctly as well as inputting test results into the appropriate system
*
Advising management and/or supervisors when quality standards are at risk of being compromised and instigate corrective action to rectify or prevent any non-compliance
*
Complying with company safety policy and promoting a high standard of safety awareness
*
Delivering compliance with pre-agreed standards and QA procedures as measured in internal and external audits
The ideal candidate should be able to evidence previous experience and knowledge of test procedures and material specifications along with a practical knowledge of company systems, plant control systems and procedures.
Ideally you'll have a proven understanding of company health and safety policy and procedures as well as the reporting requirements for near hits, NTI'S etc.
Possession of a current full clean driving licence is essential and a current valid CSCS card is required
Experience of working in a similar role is essential
