The Liverpool Recruitment company are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for one of our well established clients who are based in Liverpool.

The company are specialists in Construction & Mechanical & Electrical industries.

This will be maternity cover for 9-12 months.

Hours Monday- Friday 8- 4.30pm.

Start date Mid to end of July.

This will be office based in Liverpool City Centre.

Job duties;

* Fully organised on payments in, DD's due, Cheques written and value spent on Credit Card.

* To send weekly live hire reports to Site Managers.

* Distributing invoices for authorisation, Checking against Statement, inputting to Sage once authorised and updating Snapshot with value due. Prior to inputting to sage and confirming the snapshot, must determine whether sub-contractor is CIS and whether reverse charge Vat applies.

* Queries: Resolve any general queries and keep spreadsheet up to date of all queries and assist with resolving colleagues queries when required.

* Complete Credit Application forms when required - state/request our payment terms.

* Set new supplier/subcontractors on Sage and Joblogic on request to enable PO's to be raised

* Raise PO's/Place orders on Credit Card when requested.

* Answer Incoming accounts calls

* Petty Cash/Monthly Expenses - check receipts, posting of transactions to Sage, update snapshot, post payment, reconcile on Sage.

* Credit Card - check receipts, posting of transactions to Sage, update snapshot, reconcile on Sage.

* Post Monthly DD's

* Payments - Post to Sage, update Snapshot, send remittances.

* Update IT Asset Spreadsheet
