The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our established team at Calders & Grandidge, based in Lincs. This role is Monday-Thursday 8:00-17:00 and Friday 8:00-16:00. To maintain effective control over the company's financial reporting systems and procedures to enable the production of accurate, timely and relevant management information, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and internal policies.

What are we looking for?

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
IT/PC literate (MS Office-especially Excel, Sage 1000 and Magnitude)
Strong business acumen and business awareness
A flexible analytical and methodical approach in problem solving
Ability to manage ever-changing workload and priorities and able to multi-taskWhat will you be responsible for?

Effective Deputy and cover for the Finance Director including attendance at Senior Management meetings
Influencing behaviour with regular contact and training for non-finance personnel on policies, procedures and the best working practices
Ensure adherence to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements and deadlines set by Group
Maintain responsibility for the completion, content and accuracy of key Balance Sheet reconciliations
Providing analysis and interpretation of financial information to operational staff and directors; including analysis of costs and providing explanations of variances
