As our ITSM Automation Analyst, you will help define the continuing evolution of IT Service Management, processes, and tooling and integrations, to meet the changing business needs of the enterprise, including responsibility for the Processes, Integrations and Automations that will ensure the development of the ITSM platform is delivered in compliance with governance, controls and appropriate regulations.

Responsibilities as our ITSM Automation Analyst will include:

- Undertaking technical and process analysis, technical direction, planning and organising, and implementation of initiatives

- Articulating strategy, vision and best practices associated with developing processes and automations that adhere to ITIL and SIAM principles

- Developing IT processes to ensure they are optimised and automated as much as possible

- Consulting with Technical Delivery Managers, subject matter experts and wider teams to understand requirements, establish priorities and scope, and develop efficient and optimised processes and appropriate technical solutions

- Collaborating with Business Functions to demonstrate ITSM technical capabilities, creating a vision for a solution that can be built, and creating estimates and work plans

- Leading and facilitating requirements gathering and refinement meetings with business and technical stakeholders

- Producing document user stories and acceptance criteria in a concise and development-ready manner

- Designing, developing, implementing, integrating and supporting ITSM and ESM platform solutions and advising on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture

- Assisting with the development of test scripts and coordinating test efforts for post-sprint testing, UAT, regression testing and validation of the solution

- Performing trend analysis on the process KPIs and identifying opportunities for process improvements

What we are looking for in our ideal ITSM Automation Analyst:

- Experience in managing, developing and implementing ITSM solutions

- A demonstrable expertise in ITIL methodologies, preferably ITIL 3.0

- Possess analytics capabilities and knowledge of ITIL Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Critical Success Factors (SFs)

- A strong background as a technology lead and subject matter expert

- In-depth experience building/implementing Enterprise solutions, and/or transformational initiatives to enable a business function

- Experience in working directly with analysts, senior stakeholders and technical leads and an ability to communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Clear, concise communication skills in both oral and written format

- Proven ability to manage, track and report on process(s) outcomes

- Strong experience with Regulatory and security best practices
