Careers Advisor Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for inspiring and engaging Careers Advisors who will provide Information Advice and Guidance to unemployed adults across the region.
You as the Careers Advisor will provide professional careers guidance in job centres and community venues. You will engage with customers both face to face and virtually to deliver effective, labour market focused careers information, advice and guidance and you will support your customers to move closer to securing employment or full time education.
You'll be responsible for conducting initial interventions and you will manage a caseload of customers via the telephone/video chats. You will create SMART action plans and ensure that all engagement is completed to National Careers Service, SFA, Ofsted and Matrix standards.
You will hold a Level 3 (or higher) IAG qualification and have experience working with adult or NEET customers.
Due to the nature of this role you will be a car driver with access to your own vehicle and you will need to complete a DBS criminal records check if successful.
