A leading food manufacturer in the Cheshire area is looking to add a Packaging Technologist to their growing team.
Key Duties:
Manage the packaging element of new customer product development
Manage both customer led and internal packaging innovation including reduction/removal of plastic, introduction of new material
Manage non-conformances and supply failures
Collate integral data from existing sales forecast and MRP sources
Run regular tenders across each packaging category
Manage internal communication ensuring all PO's are placed by others at the correct contractual terms
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
University Degree, or equivalent
Buying/packaging background within the FMCG sector is highly desirable
