Are you a senior planner with experience of managing the planning applications of large scale engineering projects?
Do you want the opportunity to break into the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector with a well-established company where you will receive training and work on exciting projects?
This company specialise in the development of large scale renewable projects and waste management solutions to enable local authorities to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to a greener future. They have seen great success in recent times and are now looking to expand their planning team to continue growing pipeline of projects.
In this role, the Senior Planner will report to the Head of Planning, and will be responsible for managing the planning applications of large scale renewable projects from site identification to planning permission being granted. You will assess feasibility studies of sites, liaise with clients and land owners, and engage with regulatory bodies and public councillors.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of mamaging the planning application process of large scale engineering projects, ideally within the renewable sector but other industries will be considered.

The role:
*Manage the pre-construction planning applications of large scale renewable projects
*Assess site feasibility and grid connections
*Engagement and liaison with land owners, public councillors and regulatory bodies
*Reporting to Head of Planning
*Remote role with travel required, required to visit office once a week
The Person:
*3-5 years experience planning applications for large scale projects
*Membership or eligible for RTPI
*Degree qualified in relevant discipline
*Full UK driving license
