Hudson Shribman are currently looking for an experienced Toolmaker / Universal Grinder to join our client on a permanent basis.
Duties will include Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within a busy Grinding department.
Essential experience / skills:
* Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding
* CNC Grinding (Jones & Shipman Ultramat) experience an advantage.
* Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
* Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
* Experience of small batch work an advantage.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Aerospace experience is an advantage.
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm.
Competitive salary (depending on experience) + Overtime.
Private medical care available
