Position; Quality Inspector / Quality Technician

Salary: GBP30,000 to GBP36,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities to grow

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am till 4:45pm and Friday 6am till 1pm

Location: Commutable from Camberley, Bracknell, Farnborough, Farnham, Guildford, Aldershot and surrounding areas


An established and growing manufacturing company who precision machined parts and solutions to various industries, including aerospace, are on the look out for a Quality Inspector / Quality Technician. Working in a state of the art and modern factory, your role in Quality will include;

* Ensuring Quality standards are maintained and QMS procedures are followed correctly.

* Inspecting finished product prior to release under Delegated Quality Release for key customers.

* Perform mechanical inspection on parts, sub assemblies and top level assemblies. Using standard measuring equipment, shadowgraph and CMM.

* Preparing customer reports, certificates and raising release order documentation.

* Maintaining Quality records and KPI data related to Quality Release.

* Maintaining customer delegated release inspection logs.

* Monitor concession and production permits, maintain RCN log.

* Performing Quality Over check on production parts as required.

* Verifying incoming receipt materials and finished product from sub-tiers.

* Involvement in Quality investigations.

* Implement Continuous Improvement strategies in line with company policies.

* Co-ordinating dispatch requirements with customer services department and escalate any problems including resource issues.

* Regularly liaise with production staff, engineers, management and other members of the Quality department over quality issues.

* Carry out training for production staff.


* Quality Technician / Quality Inspection experience, working within a regulated industry such as Aerospace OR Automotive Manufacturing

* Qualified preferred in Engineering such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* Good working knowledge of quality inspection and tools and measuring equipment such as CMM.

* Any experience of Root Cause Methods would be desirable

* Methodical and process driven

* Excellent communication skills with the ability of getting your point across in a professional and effective manner
