Our client, a World market leader in street cleansing vehicles, are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to be based in Dorking, Surrey on a permanent basis. This will be a 40-hour working week with alternating shifts, one week of 07:30 - 16:30 followed by one week of 10:00 - 19:00.
The overall purpose of this role is to ensure that inventory is received, moved, stored and issued within production facilities in a timely and organised manner. SAP records of inventory must be accurately processed and kept up to date. The Warehouse team leader will be responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure that the area of goods in and warehouse locations are kept clean, safe, and tidy.
The succesful candidate will have;
* Good knowledge of warehouse planning, documentation requirements, and accepted warehouse methods, procedure, and techniques.
* Knowledge of SAP Inventory/Warehouse Management Systems (IM/WM) or equivalent is essential.
* Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, continuous improvement and waste reduction activities is essential
* Forklift truck licence: - counterbalance or Reach (or ability & willingness to train).
