Main Responsibilities
Activity Coordinator GBP9.25 per hour
Gainsborough Care Home has 48 beds and is just a stones throw away from Dorset's stunning Jurassic Coastline and beaches
Flexible role and hours available, approx. 16hours per week over 2-3 days per week
Supportive Management TeamAs an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for talking with residents and their families to find out what people want to do and to assist the care team in meeting people's social and emotional needs as well as their physical ones. You will be able to plan and organise activity programmes for our residents in accordance with their assessed needs and wishes. You will be tasked with arranging a variety of activities such as: light exercise, arts & crafts, puzzles, knitting, sing-a-longs, days out, seasonal events and lots more.
