RECRUITMENTiQ are working in partnership with an engineering firm that is currently seeking an Apprentice/Junior Customer Service Engineer.

We are a privately owned family company with a worldwide reputation for excellence in the design and manufacture of blast finishing, spray wash and ultrasonic cleaning equipment - as well as being the UK supplier for all your hose and coupling requirements.

We are looking for a Junior/Apprentice to join our Customer Service team, based at our Skipton head office. A wide ranging role, tasks include supporting the sale of equipment, sales of spare parts, blast media and liquid consumables as well as administration and sales processing, technical support and service co-ordination.

We feel this is an excellent opportunity to kick start a career in technical sales.

Applicants will be offered full and comprehensive training on equipment, spare parts, consumables and service offerings as well as systems and commercial/sales acumen. Spending time in a number of areas around the business, including test/demonstration, manufacturing and sales during training.

An interest in engineering/manufacturing would beneficial.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the first point of contact for customers.
Manage customer relationships through the use of the Guyson CRM and ERP systems.
Discuss, provide advice, and up-sell to customers on the features/uses/maintenance/operation of Guyson equipment, spares parts, and services.
Generate and follow up leads, issue quotations and liaise with new and existing Guyson customers.
Manage customer orders through receipt, acknowledgement, processing, invoicing and follow up.
Assist customers in resolving queries, liaising with our Service team where needed, including managing the return of goods, credit and re-imbursement where required.
Application engineering. Working with our customers and our Demonstration and Engineering teams to develop processes and applications for customers.
Maintain required company records and data in conjunction with our accounts for auditing as well as our obligations under ISO
