We are currently partnering with a leading top 10 Accountancy firm based in the South West, who due to significant investment and a period of exponential growth, are looking to strengthen their Audit team with a strong Assistant Audit Manager.

This excellent firm cover a wide range of audit, accounting and tax services to clients. In addition to commercial companies, the organisations they deal with include professional partnerships, land estates, charities, and many cross-sector businesses.
Your role
You will be managing a varied portfolio of corporate and not for profit clients operating in an exciting array of varied sectors.
Managing and developing a team of auditors at various levels
Leading teams in relation to client audits, ensuring assignments are staffed appropriately and with the required blend of skills and experience
Working closely with the client engagement Partner to co-ordinate both compliance and specialist services
Liaising with clients on any issues as an escalation point for your team
Assisting with the coaching and development of audit staff, from new recruit to qualified seniors, both on-site and back in the office
Supporting complex and often fast-moving projects, which may include business sales and acquisitions
Ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you must be ACA/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post qualified experience in audit and compliance. You will have worked across a range of sectors from not for profit to corporates and have a good grounding in tax as well as audit. Line management experience is essential.
