Semi Senior Accountant

An opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior to join our clients' accounts and audit department. Their client range is wide, covering a number of sectors and business sizes including business start-ups through to multi-national organisations.

As a Semi Senior, you will assist the Accounts Seniors and Managers in the preparation of accounts, income tax computations, VAT returns and management accounts for a client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

The Accounts Semi Senior must have worked within an Accountancy Practice for 3+ years previously and will be used to liaising with clients ensuring service levels are high. Preferably studying AAT or ACCA and will be a self-starter who is eager to learn. In return, the firm will provide the Accounts Semi Senior with a high level of training and support along with a competitive salary and study support if required.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview

Preparing year-end accounts for Limited Company and Sole Trader clients

Management accounts

Assisting with bookkeeping

Preparing personal and corporation tax computations and returns.

Assisting the Accounts Manager with ad hoc project work for clients.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements

Must have 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice

Preferably studying AAT or ACCA

Experience with SAGE and Xero

Semi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary between GBP18,000- 23,000 (dependant on experience)
