Part Time Accounts Manager

We are recruiting a Part Time Accounts Manager to join a small SME in the Basildon area. This is a Part Time permanent role requiring someone to work 30 hours over 5 days (flexible on hours as long as over 5 days). This role will be paying GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 pro rata and is seeking someone to start ASAP.

Your responsibility will be to manage the financial function for the company. This will include:

Daily processes for both creditor and debtor management
Trial Balance
Working papers and Management account preparation
Working alongside the General Manager to provide accurate cash flow forecasting.
Work with all departments and functions to ensure the financial information retained is accurate and entered on to the Sage finance system in a timely manner to facilitate provision of required information when required.
Cash flow Management
Banking
VAT, PAYE & NI
Payroll Processing

The ideal candidate for this Part Time Accounts Manager will have the following qualification and attributes:

Accountancy qualification such as being part or fully qualified AAT or equivalent desirable.
Strong IT skills, especially excel
Experience of working within an ERP system. Sage 50/Sage 200 desirable
Experience of balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reporting, HMRC reporting & payroll
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong Communication skills
