The People Administrator will provide a professional, customer-focused administration service to the People Operations team and to Line Management across the business, ensuring the application of best practice and established processes and procedures, whilst following work instructions. Everyone is accountable and responsible for answering queries from colleagues across the organisation in relation to employment matters.
Key Duties:
* To work cohesively with the People Operations' Team through proactive involvement and following instruction; seeking guidance and advice as appropriate
* Manage day-to-day People Administration within the People function relating to New Starts; Contractual Changes and Leavers, as well as generalist People activities, including system/tracker updates, reporting and stakeholder notifications where appropriate
* Produce and issue employment contracts, addendums/variations and associated documentation. All documentation to be prepared and actioned correctly within agreed timescales in order to ensure value adding service is delivered to the business
* Ensure documentation issued is always accurate, current, relevant and appropriate
* Will support within meetings with note taking and general administration duties
* Administration of benefits' (for example: Pensions) documentation, including follow-up on outstanding or incomplete paperwork
* Liaise with People Operations' teams and employees from various projects and functions on a daily basis in order to provide a quality People Administration service, ensuring business needs are always met Deal promptly and politely with queries raised by employees, managers and external stakeholders; preferably face to face, but also by email or over the telephone
* Will support the leaver administration process, by conducting Exit Interviews where required
* Assist in organising and administration of events where the People Ops Team are expected to lead
* Raise purchase orders and obtain authorisation to enable timely payment of supplier invoices. Manage invoice processing
* General administration including post and email and answering face to face and phone queries
* Provide management information in conjunction with the People MI and Data analyst as required
* Administer RTW, reference, DBS and contract checks
Requirment:
* A general level of education at degree or professional level, or the equivalent level of attainment gained through professional experience
* Will have a commitment to work towards gaining CPP or CIPD qualification
* A sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice and some knowledge of employment law
* A demonstrable record of success in previous roles
* A working knowledge of computerised HR systems
