BUUK Infrastructure are currently recruiting for an Applications Support Analyst. This role will support core applications across the BUUK Infrastructure based on the Microsoft Technology Stack. The candidate and team will ensure effective support of systems by delivering exemplary customer service to all users at all levels.

Working closely with internal customers and developers to analyse and resolve all data and applications' incidents including BUUK's Portal issues and service requests such as Data Fixes in the appropriate timeframes and ensuring that changes to software meet the standards of the business. You'll be acting as a technical point of contact to fix applications and systems issues.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys handling multiple priorities at any given time whilst undertaking day to day support activities. This full time, permanent position is based at our office in Woolpit.

We are looking for someone with experience of object orientated development using C#.Net, ASP.NET and MVC or similar. While it is not essential that you have had previous experience within this sector before, you must have experience of SSRS report development, or other reporting technologies. Training on our systems and the company will be provided.

Responsibilities will include -

* Responding to customer queries and resolving incidents, ensuring a low effort customer journey

* Maintain Customer Focus - support end-user and departmental colleagues in a professional, friendly and helpful manner

* Maintain incident ownership through the request lifecycle to a exceed standards of service

* Working closely with the development teams and customers to ensure that software is tested to a good standard prior to release. Testing includes functional and security testing

* Communicating important system changes to the development teams as per Change Management process

* Quality of Work - Ensure that all relevant information is recorded accurately on the tickets and knowledge base within the ITSM and Change Control systems

* Support and maintenance of in-house systems, intranets and web sites

* Maintaining User Access Review (UAR) security controls relevant to company systems and databases to ensure the auditing obligations are met

* Support or manage strategic projects within the Service Delivery Team

* Creation and maintenance of the support & user documentation

* Willing to undertake sufficient training and knowledge sharing to perform the role

* Design and develop new software solutions to meet business requirements

* Show initiative - keep abreast of technologies and support the team(s) in the delivery of innovative, quality solutions, delivering real value to the business
