IT Operations Manager required for my client based in central Bristol for a permanent role paying approx. GBP50-55k - there is NO parking.
You will be responsible for a team of IT Support Engineers and an Infrastructure Engineer and your primary focus will be on Service Improvements and delivering KPI's.
You should be strong with ITIL
You will oversee the delivery of BAU support activities via the Engineers, and also work collaboratively with external teams and third party vendors and partners.
The ideal candidate would ideally have 5+ years' experience within a Senior Management position and strong working experience in the following areas:
• Cloud Services - Office 365, Azure, SaaS including migration and management
• Managed Service Provider services, operations, and contracts
• ITIL, Prince2, ISO 27001, 9001, Cyber Essentials
• Enterprise IT infrastructure (Wintel, Virtualisation, VDI, SAN)
• Communication systems, telephony, email, VC etc.
• Corporate WiFi, BYOD, LAN, WAN, networking principles
• Security technologies, anti-virus, content filtering, phishing, DLP
• Backup, DR & business continuity planning
• Occasional travel to other offices and overtime may be required to meet the demands of the business
