GAS ENGINEER
GBP28k - GBP33k based on experience and ability
+ Bonus + OTE + Tools + Uniform & Phone.
Our client installs kitchen appliances for John Lewis and some of the major housebuilders throughout the South. They require a White Goods Installation Engineer, with gas qualification for installation and ideally experience installing electrical and integrated appliances.
The right candidate will be enthusiastic, with a flexible approach and a can-do attitude. You will need to work well as part of a team as well as individually with excellent customer service skills. The role of the gas engineer would suit gas qualified kitchen fitters and ex AO, Know How, Comet, DBD, PJH etc.
The qualities required for the Gas Engineer:
* To be experienced enough to be able to work alone or as part of a team
* Able to install gas appliances in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers' instructions.
* A willingness to travel to depots and sites (when required)
* Able to follow instructions
* Good customer service skills
* A flexible approach
Qualifications & Experience:
* Must have Domestic ACS qualifications, and as a minimum CCN1, CKR1
* Electrical experience desirable but not essential as training will be given
* Current CSCS card (jib-plumb) - desirable but not essential
* Integrated experience advantageous but not essential as training will be given
* Able to work under pressure, and work on their own initiative
* Demonstrate good working practice
* Exceptional customer care
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexible approach to all situations
* Full, clean & current driving license
* Good understanding of Health & Safety
Working shifts 4 days per week Monday - Saturday on a rolling rota
5 day contracts also available
